خلايا نحل دؤوبة: المنتديات التقنية في منطقة الشرق الأوسط وشمال إفريقيا

تنشط المجموعات والمنتديات التقنية عبر أنحاء الكرة الأرضية، من خلال إقامة أحداث يتم من خلالها تقديم أحدث التقنيات وتبادل الأفكار، وعادةً خلق أفكار متعددة تشكل الأساس الذي تستند إليه تقنيات متعددة نستخدمها في الوقت الحالي.
وربما ليس هناك مكان آخر على كوكب الأرض يشهد منتديات تقنية نشطة يضاهي ما نراه هنا في منطقة الشرق الأوسط وشمال إفريقيا، لذا اسمح لنا بتعريفك ببعض هذه المنتديات!
مجموعات الأنشطة التجارية من Google، والتي تُعرف أيضًا باسم مجموعات GBG، وتتألف من طلاب شباب وخريجين جدد ومنظمي مشاريع، أقامت حدثًا يُعرف باسم "كيفية تحقيق دخل عبر Google" في مدينة الأسكندرية بمصر.
مجموعات مطوري البرامج من Google، والتي يُشار إليها بشكل أكثر شيوعًا باسم مجموعات GDG، أقامت أحداثًا باسم "أيام البرمجيات الحرة" في صفاقس (تونس) وشبين الكوم (مصر)، بالإضافة إلى 17 حدثًا آخر لمجموعات GDG في الجزائر ومصر وفلسطين والكويت وعمان والمملكة العربية السعودية والأردن واليمن. وتستضيف مجموعات GDG العديد من الأحداث خلال العام للترويج لتقنيات لمطوري البرامج بالإضافة إلى إقامة مسابقات لكي يبرز فيها مطورو البرامج الشباب والصاعدين مواهبهم.
بطبيعة الحال، لا تسعنا مناقشة المنتديات التقنية لشباب منطقة الشرق الأوسط وشمال إفريقيا إلا بإشارة موجزة إلى سفراء الطلاب من Google، الذين يعملون من خلال الأحداث التي يقيمونها في حرم الجامعات عبر منطقة الشرق الأوسط على تعريف الأساتذة وأعضاء هيئة التدريس والموظفين ونظرائهم من الطلاب بالتقنيات والتطبيقات المتعددة المتاحة للاستخدام كيفما يشاءون، وذلك من أجل تحقيق المزيد من التطور في حياتهم ودفع مستوى التعليم إلى مستوى أرقى.
وتعد هذه المنتديات والمجموعات التقنية مصدرًا للفخر والسعادة للعالم العربي، نظرًا لأنها تأخذ على عاتقها مواجهة التحديات وتبذل ما بوسعها لضمان اعتناق شباب المنطقة للوسائل التقنية مثل نظرائهم في أي مكان آخر في أنحاء العالم.

Busy Bees: Tech Communities in MENA
Technology groups and communities are active throughout the globe, constantly holding events to introduce the latest technology, exchange ideas and more often than not, give birth to many ideas which form the foundation of many technologies we use today.
Perhaps no other place on Earth features technology communities as active as the ones we find right here in the MENA region, so allow us to introduce you!
Google Business Groups, otherwise known as GBGs, which comprise of youthful students, recent graduates and entrepreneurs held their “How to Generate Revenue with Google” event in the Egyptian city of Alexandria.
Google Developer Groups, more commonly referred to as GDGs held their “Software Freedom Days” events in Sfax (Tunisia) Shibin El Kawm (Egypt), as well as 17 other GDG Events in Algeria, Egypt, Palestine, Algeria, Kuwait, Oman, Saudi Arabia, Jordan and Yemen. GDGs host many events throughout the year to promote technologies for developers in addition to holding competitions for young and upcoming developers to showcase their talents.
Of course, we cannot discuss the tech communities of the MENA youth without a brief mention of Google’s Student Ambassadors whose events on university campuses throughout the Middle East region introduce professors, faculty, staff and students alike to the various technologies and applications available for use at their disposal in order to further enrich their lives and take education to the next level.
These tech communities and groups are a source of pride and joy to the Arab world as they take challenges head on and do their best to ensure the youth of the region are as intertwined with technology as their counterparts elsewhere in the world.
